Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Ephunaro collects, uses, and handles personal data when you use ephunaro.com. It covers the contact form, general site use, and your rights regarding the information you provide. Ephunaro is an editorial resource for the Singapore cloud accounting market.

Data we collect

Information we collect

Two sources only: what you type, and what the site records as it runs.

We collect the information you provide through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you supply one, and the content of your message. Nothing beyond that is requested, and no field is hidden behind an optional extra.

We also collect limited technical information generated by normal site use, such as the pages you visit, for the purpose of understanding how the site is used and keeping it working. This is routine server-level information and it is not joined to your enquiry unless you have submitted the contact form.

Purpose

How we use your information

Each purpose below is paired with what it does and what it does not do. If a purpose is not listed, we do not use your data for it.

Enquiry replies We use contact form information to respond to your enquiry, including corrections, questions, and partnership messages.
Site upkeep We use technical information to maintain and improve the site, and to spot pages that fail to load or break on common devices.
Advertising We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.
Editorial contact If you write in with a correction or a question about a published comparison, we keep the message so the record can be checked and updated.

Plain reading

You write in, we answer, and we do not repurpose the message for anything else. If you want your message removed after the exchange ends, ask and we will delete it.

Legal basis

Legal basis and consent

The table below sets out why we are allowed to hold each kind of information, and how to change your mind. Read it as a form: each row names the basis, the data it covers, and your control.

Consent We process contact form details on the basis of your consent when you submit the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us and asking us to delete your information.
Legitimate interest We keep basic usage records and site security on the basis of legitimate interest. These records stay aggregated or short-lived wherever possible.
Withdrawal To withdraw consent, use the contact form on the contact page or call the business phone listed there. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before the request.

Consent applies to the enquiry you send, not to your general use of the site. Browsing the comparison pages and reading the guides does not require you to submit anything.

Record Kept Reason Then Your control Route

Data retention

We keep contact form messages only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up. Corrections may be retained longer if they relate to a published change, because the record has to stay checkable. Technical usage records are kept for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated so they no longer identify a visitor.

Contact messages

Held while the enquiry is open, then deleted once the thread is closed and no follow-up is pending.

Technical records

Held for a short window for troubleshooting, then deleted or rolled into totals that no longer identify anyone.

If you would like a message removed before that window closes, ask through the contact form or by phone and we will action the request.

Sharing

Sharing and disclosure

Four rules govern who ever sees your data. Three of them are limits, and one is a legal duty.

No sale

We do not sell personal data to anyone, for any purpose.

Service providers

We may share information with hosting and email providers who help us operate the site, and only to the extent needed for that purpose.

Legal duty

We may disclose information if required by law, and only the specific information the request covers.

Editorial sources

Our comparisons draw on publicly available vendor information. Sending us a correction does not publish your details.

Your rights

Your rights over your data

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, use the contact form or the business phone listed on the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable period, and we will tell you if a request cannot be met and why.

Deletion requests are handled on the contact messages we hold. Technical records that have already been aggregated cannot be traced back to a single visitor, so there is nothing left to delete.

Cookies

Cookies on this site

The site uses cookies as described in the Cookie Policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the site work, including any saved preferences.

Clearing cookies does not delete a contact message you already sent. Those are separate records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our practices change or if the law requires it. The current version is always published on this page, and the date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. If a change affects how we handle an open enquiry, we will say so in the reply thread rather than only here.

Common questions

Privacy questions we get asked

Do I have to submit the contact form to use the site?

No. The comparison pages and guides are readable without sending anything. The form exists for enquiries, corrections, and questions, and it is the only place on the site that collects personal data directly from you.

What happens to my phone number if I include it?

It is used to answer the enquiry you sent. It is not added to a marketing list, and it is not shared with the software vendors mentioned in our comparisons.

Can I ask for a copy of what you hold about me?

Yes. Send a request through the contact form or call +65 6213 1540 during working hours. In practice this means the contact messages and any replies attached to your name or email address.

Does asking a question commit me to anything?

No. Ephunaro is an independent editorial resource, and an enquiry does not create an account, a subscription, or a support agreement. If you want to look at implementation options, the implementation and support page explains what is covered.
